The tabloid Star magazine (not online) claimed that actress/dreamy cookbook author/uninfluential person Gwyneth Paltrow is "planning to open world-class restaurant in Los Angeles" with her good friend Mario Batali. A supposed "insider" says that they are planning a restaurant "that specializes in Spanish cuisine." A Spanish-themed Eataly with a holistic cleanse-diet plus hot yoga center?

But Gossip Cop, crusher of dreams everywhere, stomps the rumor dead: "[H]er rep tells Gossip Cop she has no plans to open a place of her own at this time." There is still hope: "at this time" means it still might happen. Fingers crossed, foodie friends.
