Miami Restaurant Bans NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell

New, 2 comments

Brother Jimmy's BBQ in Miami has put up signs on all of the windows and inside the dining room with a photo of NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reading in all caps "DO NOT SERVE THIS MAN." Brother Jimmy's BBQ has multiple locations in New York City and the Caribbean, and the Miami location is owned, in part, by Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma. Vilma has been in a legal battle with the NFL over a season-long suspension due to an organized bounty system at the Saints. Not sure if banning the NFL Commissioner is the best idea. Apparently Goodell is not especially welcome in New Orleans; it'll be interesting how the Super Bowl in 2013 plays out in when New Orleans hosts it.
