Robber With Samurai Sword Shot and Killed by Dairy Queen Clerk in Las Vegas

New, 7 comments

Yesterday a a masked man bearing "a full-sized, martial arts sword" tried to rob a Dairy Queen before he was shot and killed by an employee of the restaurant. The sword was apparently three feet long and had a gold handle. No word on why the guy had a sword or why the employee had a gun, and Dairy Queen has not commented on their guns-in-stores policy. No charges are being pressed as the shooter is believed to have acted in self-defense. Hey, 8 News Now Las Vegas, what does the martial arts community in Las Vegas make of all this? "The martial arts community is frowning on the man who tried to rob this Dairy Queen with the sword." There's more where that came from, below.
