Grant Achatz's Chicago cocktail bar The Aviary is cracking down on metal straw thieves. A woman admits to trying to steal one because it was "unique" but got totally busted: "[W]hen I finished my drink I put it in my purse. Little did I know they have cameras on the ceiling and I got caught. Another waiter came up to me and asked if he could have the metal straw back. So patrons beware!! Don't try to steal the metal straw!" Update: Eater Chicago reached out to Aviary co-owner Nick Kokonas who said: "[The cameras] are not used to catch thieves...
