And the secret ingredient is: three years probation, nine months of DUI school, and $2,386 in fines. Back in June, Iron Chef Cat Cora was cited for a DUI after getting into car crash in Santa Barbara, California; she was promptly whisked away to a drunk tank but never arrested. Today TMZ reports that Cora got a super-sweet plea deal from the the Santa Barbara County District Attorney, in which "she won't spend a day behind bars ... as long as she fulfills her probation and DUI school obligations."
Over the past couple of months, video and 911 tapes emerged of Cora's drunk driving accident. In a video shot by a bystander, Cora was noticeably woozy and called the people filming her "two nerds." In the 911 call, the person Cora rear-ended said, "She's yelling and acting really weird... She's just been very aggressive... She was just driving insane."
