Here now, an Eater exclusive: the trailer for New York chef Amanda Cohen's forthcoming Dirt Candy: A Cookbook. The book was cowritten by Grady Hendrix with art by Ryan Dunlavey, and contains recipes from Cohen's vegetable-focused New York restaurant Dirt Candy.
If the fact that it's both a comic book and a cookbook doesn't spark your interest (see a post from Cohen on the artistic process), perhaps the following list of contents provided by the trailer might help: "It's full of action, romance, glamor, monkeys, robots, recipes, vegetables, martial arts, unicorns, and even more monkeys."
Also the trailer features vegetable cannibalism; don't say you weren't warned. Dirt Candy: A Cookbook comes out August 21 from Clarkson Potter (pre-order on Amazon).
