Hey, America, Denny's has you figured out: the restaurant chain's Tour of America summer promotion has taken regional "specialties" and made them available nationwide. For example, representing the Midwest is a Meat and Potatoes sandwich featuring "grilled prime rib and wavy-cut French fries smothered in brown gravy topped with melted Swiss and American cheeses and mayo, served on a Cheddar bun." With a side of mashed potatoes to really make it taste like home.

Other place-themed specials include the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette, Florida Sunshine Salad (grilled chicken, strawberries, oranges), Brooklyn Spaghetti & Meatballs, Malibu Fish Tacos and a Southern Slam breakfast that comes with grits and biscuits & gravy. These are all part of the same promotion that encourages diners to check into Denny's in all 50 states, the combination of which conspire to ensure you have absolutely no sense of place whatsoever. Who wants to drive to Albuquerque for Brooklyn Spaghetti & Meatballs? How about Pittsburgh for a Florida Sunshine Salad? Anybody?

Denny’s limited-time Tour of America’ menu is back with seven delicious regional specialties. The Midwestern Meat and Potatoes Sandwich and the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette are back by popular demand and five new celebrated state dishes debut including: Brooklyn Spaghetti & Meatballs, Southern Slam, Malibu Fish Tacos, Florida Sunshine Salad and Red, White & Blue Pancakes Breakfast. Diners with a sweet tooth may enjoy Denny’s new Strawberry Pancake Puppies® with Cream Cheese Icing or the deliciously indulgent Apple Crisp Milk Shake Parfait, offering the perfect all-American end to any meal. Or for a summer treat refreshing at any time of day, guests can sample the new Red Raspberry Smoothie, also available in kid’s size.
Launched nationwide on June 5, the “Tour of America” menu is available all day, every day for a limited time only with prices starting at $5.99. The menu includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert items.
