Tales of the Cocktail 2012: Hangover Observations

Annual New Orleans bacchanal Tales of the Cocktail was this past weekend, and Eater NOLA has all the details. From crazy rain and light flooding to "an entire room of mostly-strangers [drinking] a rousing toast of Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey...at nine o'clock in the morning," the event sounds like it was just as soggy as promised. Even if not everyone discovered "some rare liquor that only a handful of tight-lipped conquistador descendants know about." Maybe next year?
