In-N-Out Popup in Singapore Sells Out in Five Minutes

Singaporeans are the latest to join the legions of fans for joyful sob-inducing In-N-Out. The burger chain held a one-day popup there on Tuesday — part of a series of popups they've done in cities that include Tokyo and Shanghai — and, of course, it sold out in less than five minutes. People started lining up at 9:30 a.m. to snag one of a rumored 300 wristbands for a free burger, and, duh, there are way more than 300 people in Singapore who would really, really like to eat an Animal Style burger, please. According to Singapore lifestyle website Insing: "At 11.05am, many hungry, disgruntled, sweaty individuals saw their hopes dashed when they were turned away by a surly store manager. As a last ditched effort, a reluctant few made do with In-N-Out Burger T-shirts."

This beats the Sydney pop-up in which In-N-Out ran out of burgers in an hour and just about confirms it: an adoring burger-eating world demands more In-N-Out. Or, you know, at least more than 300 patties next time.
