UK-based conveyor belt-style sushi chain Yo! Sushi makes its debut on American soil tomorrow with a technicolor new location at Washington, DC's Union Station. Eater DC has all the details on the fully loaded place settings, Scandinavian lighting, and the conveyor belt that automatically dumps food after an hour. International operations manager Werner Coetzee explains that Yo! Sushi picked DC for its first US location having seen other international chains such as Nando's Peri-Peri succeed there, plus: "We couldn't think of a better city and a more iconic building to do our first one." And brace yourselves, America: the chain intends to branch out across the US next.
