It's about to get beefy up in the Bocuse d'Or: competitors have been told what ingredients they'll have to work with during the upcoming cooking competition. The US team's coach, Gavin Kaysen, tweets "we have beef filet, fish still not known." Time for team captain Richard Rosendale to get to work — he only has 210 days left to train according to the scary countdown clock on the Bocuse d'Or website.
British team captain Adam Bennett gives additional details to Big Hospitality, saying the chefs will also have access to ox cheek, chuck and oxtail. No one has any idea what the fish will be yet, though, and they won't until November.
