Watch Anita Lo & April Bloomfield Give a Google Talk

Here are New York chefs Anita Lo and April Bloomfield doing a Google Talk, which is emphatically described as not a panel on being a woman chef. Instead, the two talk about their restaurants: Bloomfield tells the story of how restaurateur Ken Friedman convinced her to move to New York, and Lo talks about her stint on the first season Top Chef Masters, which aired during the nine months her restaurant Annisa was shuttered from a fire. Lo calls the fire "doubly tragic" because they also missed out on the Masters publicity — although admits they still get people in because of the show, three years later.
