Man's Dying Wish to Tip $500 on Pizza Goes Viral, Inspires $10,000 in Donations

New, 4 comments

When 30-year-old Aaron Collins died last week, his will asked his family to "leave an awesome tip (and I don't mean 25%. I mean $500 on a f***ing pizza) for a waiter or waitress." They followed his wishes, making a waitress at Puccini's Smiling Teeth in Lexington, Kentucky very, very happy. The video below, in which Collins' brother gives the waitress the money, promptly went viral, resulting in $10,000 worth of donations being made to the Aaron Collins fund. In one day.

According to the website, Collins' family will continue giving $500 tips from the donations they've received, while paying for the website hosting and the food at the restaurants out of their own pockets. As of right now, they have enough money to pull the stunt at least 23 more times.
