Richard Vines over at Bloomberg talks to a whole bunch of London chefs about what they think the Olympic Games will mean for business, and the response is mixed. Trevor Gulliver (St John Hotel) says, "Every single sports federation across all sports across the world, every event organizer, politician, agent, sponsor, sponsors' client, sports lobbyist, celebrity -- if they are on expenses -- they will be here." Others are less excited. Joel Antunes (Kitchen Joel Antunes) is taking a vacation: "I was in Atlanta during the 1996 Olympics and business was not good." [Bloomberg]
