According to Julia Moskin at the New York Times, there's an "American culinary invasion" going on in Paris. "[S]carf-wearing hipsters" in Paris are praising restaurants and food trucks by calling them "très Brooklyn." It means "a particularly cool combination of informality, creativity and quality." [NYT]
