Casting: Tony & Nigella's "Exciting" New Cooking Show

The casting call dates and locations have been announced for Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson's quote-exciting-unquote as-yet-unnamed ABC cooking show.

Open calls are scheduled in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 30th, and in Chicago and New York on Saturday, July 14th. Possible contestants are asked to bring "food/ingredients to be finished and plated once you enter the audition room," as there'll be no kitchen in which to finish or warm dishes. The 13-page application asks about everything from motivation for doing the show to criminal background information and notes that "it is OKAY if you are not a professional chef." So, whew.
