Burger King Japan Unleashes a Five-Patty Whopper

Is this five-patty hamburger, which celebrates the fifth anniversary of Burger King Japan, a certified Novelty Burger? Or is it just a regular old really big hamburger? Either way, the 5th Anniversary Special has been discounted 50% to a mere ¥550 ($7) — that's $1.40 per patty.

Apparently the stacked approach is not new to Japan — two years ago they released a seven (seven!) patty burger to celebrate the release of Windows 7. Nerds.
