British "serial freeloader" Christopher Travis is banned from every single restaurant and pub in the UK. According to the Daily Mail that doesn't stop him, though: Travis has now dine-and-dashed and 13 restaurants since the court-ordered ban was instituted in June of 2010. Most recently, he ordered a £51.52 (about USD$80) meal at celebrity chef Michael Caines' Exeter restaurant, ABode a mere three days after he had gotten out of jail.

While Travis did try to pay with a credit card — A for effort? — when it was refused he was apparently "abusive" to the staff. A court official sentenced him to 16 month in jail, saying "Nothing justifies going into a smart restaurant and ordering a three course meal and a bottle of wine when you cannot pay." Travis boasts 86 convictions to his name, "many" of which are for dine-and-dashing.

Apparently Travis had told police he just wanted a good meal before going back to jail. He could try simply not doing anything to send him to jail in the first place?
