Burger King to Unleash a Bacon Sundae Nationwide

That "trendy" bacon sundae Burger King was testing in Nashville is coming soon to a drive-through near you. According to the AP, a sundae with "vanilla soft serve with fudge, caramel, bacon crumbles and a piece of bacon" (wait, just one?) will be offered for a limited time this summer.

Oh, and the whole thing weighs in at 510 calories. Burger King is not the first to do this — see Denny's Maple Bacon Sundae and Jack in the Box's Bacon Milkshake.

They're also adding three barbecue sandwiches (Memphis Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich, Carolina BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich, Texas BBQ Whopper or Chicken Sandwich), sweet potato fries and frozen lemonade to the menu for summer.
