David Chang on How Food Prices Affect Menu Items

Here's Momofuku empire chief David Chang talking to Bloomberg about how damn expensive food is these days. First his noodle guy is saying they need to lock in wheat prices for the rest of the year, then premium beef gets so expensive that at "Ssam Bar recently we've gone to a very duck-heavy menu." And while Chang seems willing to pay for quality, he's not sure his customers feel the same way: "I don't know that America and consumers are ready to really see that financial shock."
