The website for Beard Award winning chef Mike Lata's long-awaited second project is now live, revealing details on the followup to his critically acclaimed Charleston, South Carolina restaurant, FIG. The new restaurant will be called The Ordinary oyster hall and seafood restaurant and it will open this Fall in an old bank building on Charleston's King Street.
The restaurant, which takes its name from an antiquated term for a set menu, will be "a celebration of fishermen of the Lowcountry and the matchless seafood of the East coast" complete with raw bar and a combination of small and large plates.
