London's Haringey Council hopes that by limiting the number of fast food restaurants in the area will increase residents' life expectancy by as much as nine years. They're basing the data on a neighboring area, which only has three such restaurants (life expectancy: 81.5) as compared to Haringey's 14 (life expectancy: 72.5). [Daily Mail]
