Alice Waters' 28-year-old Cafe Fanny in Berkeley, California closed in March, and now there are new plans for the space: Bartavelle Coffee & Wine Bar, run by chef Suzanne Drexhage, will start serving "pizza bianca sandwiches, house charcuterie and other treats" in late June or early July.
