Are These The South's Best Barbecue Pit Masters?

Are these dudes the South's best pit masters? Southern Living seems to think so, naming Austin's Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue, Rodney Scott
of Scott's Bar-B-Que in Hemingway, South Carolina and the very beardy Will Fleischman of Lockhart Smokehouse in Dallas to their list of ten top guys "united by a smoky passion."

In some cases, that passion is manifest in creative use of home cleaning products, as illustrated in this video postcard from the pit masters' home bases. Says Rodney Scott, wielding a sauce-drenched red mop over steaming, smoking meats: "Brush'll take too much work with this. So we use a mop."
