UK Barmaid Wins £10,000 Over Sexism Allegations

Here's a woman who had a worse job than you: the Telegraph reports that a UK barmaid quit her job and filed a sex discrimination complaint against her boss at the Rutland Arms in Sheffield for nicknaming her "little tits" and suggesting that she wear a push-up bra to work. Because as everyone knows, forcing female servers to bare their cleavage is the only way to encourage customers to drink more. The woman also claimed her boss "made a comment about her having a sexually transmitted disease when she was off sick, and said her boyfriend was a transvestite."

Fun times! Anyway, the good news is that an employment judge awarded her £10,000 in compensation, plus another £530 in wages.
