Seems Heston Blumenthal had a bit of a choking scare during his recent tour stop at Sydney's State Theatre thanks to a piece of wagyu beef steak. The chef tells the Telegraph, "It was like a living nightmare. There are certain foods where my oesophagus spasms: red meat, tuna, chicken breast. I've been to doctors but it's quite a risky operation to fix." Blumenthal apparently rescued himself by putting his fingers down his throat and dislodging the meat. [Telegraph]
