Vegas, Atlanta Party Hard At Weekend Food, Booze Fests

Both Las Vegas and Atlanta saw high-profile, magazine-backed festivals draw celebrity chefs, booze experts and camera-wielding food bloggers to the cities over the weekend: they celebrated the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival out east, and Vegas Uncork'd in the debaucherous desert.

Eater Atlanta's Sonia Chopra spotted the likes of Greg Best, Shaun Doty and Richard Blais at the city's Food & Wine fest, wherein Hugh Acheson's Empire State South served as "after-party central all weekend." And in Vegas, Wolfgang Puck celebrated two decades in the city by kicking off Uncork'd, reports Susan Stapleton, who hobnobbed with Alain Ducasse, Gordon Ramsay and Charlie Palmer. Only the supercool ended up in José Andrés' personal suite at the Marquee for "lots of cava and room service."
