Two major South Korea stores have stopped selling American beef after mad cow disease was discovered in California for the first time in six years. It was apparently a "stroke of luck" that the disease was detected at all, as the mad cow-infected bovine was one of only a few tested and hadn't displayed symptoms before dying. [AFP, AP]
