Watch Jacques Pepin Discuss Over Fifty Years of Cooking

New, 3 comments

Here's Jacques Pepin giving a Google Talk, during which he was interviewed by one of Google's executive chefs, Jeffrey Freburg. In the 50-minute long video below, Pepin discusses the difficulty of getting certain cooking techniques across in a cookbook (which is why he included a DVD with technique videos in his most recent book, Essential Pepin), how he got started working with Julia Child, and memories of drinking milk as a little kid "right out of the tits."
