Man, isn't regular ice cream just boring? Jake Godby and Sean Vahey of Humphry Slocombe have the cure for ice cream tedium at their San Francisco ice cream shop and in their new book, Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book. Flavors like Red Hot Banana, Strawberry Olive, Elvis (The Fat Years), Salt and Pepper, there's even a recipe for a damn complete breakfast ice cream cake featuring coffee cake, Vietnamese coffee ice cream, Secret Breakfast ice cream (that would be bourbon and cornflakes), and chopped cornflake cookies.

Oh, sure, there are some basic recipes like "Here's Your Damn Chocolate Ice Cream" and "Here's Your Damn Strawberry Ice Cream," but honestly, wouldn't you rather be eating a sundae named the "Tranny Smackdown" that was inspired by shredded wigs and smeared makeup? Thought so. Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book come out from Chronicle on April 25 (pre-order on Amazon). Below, the trailer for the cookbook:
