The results of Steve Plotnicki’s annual Opinionated About Dining survey were just released. The guide, which is based on reviews from 3,000 people, lists the top 100 in the country, as well as top 25 lists by cuisine and region. The top five for the country: #5 Town House (Chilhowie, VA, now closed); #4 Per Se (NYC); #3 Alinea (Chicago), #2 The French Laundry (Yountville, CA); and #1 Manresa (Los Gatos, CA).
