End of week reviews: The Los Angeles Times gives up starred reviews with S. Irene Virbila's review of Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air; she calls it "a serious restaurant with some seriously good food." So, uh, that translates into two stars? Michael Nagrant finds a "thin line between a nondescript riblet-slinging chain restaurant like Applebee’s" and Laurent Tourondel's BLT American Brasserie in Chicago.
