Berkeley's Café Fanny Closing

cafe-fanny-closing-berkeley-eater.jpgCafé Fanny, the 28-year-old Berkeley spot from Alice Waters and her brother-in-law Jim Maser, will close for good tomorrow. "It’s just not economically viable anymore,” said general manager Taylor Gregory. They are not selling the space and intend on "exploring new possibilities that can still house the romance and idealism of the original." [ISSF]
