On Saturday a very bright Boulder, Colorado resident named Robert Wedder tried to get out of paying a $33 bar tab at Centro Restaurant by pulling out a knife and trying to cut through a plastic patio wall. Of course, it worked out perfectly for him, as reports indicate that "once he got outside the plastic covering, he became "trapped inside a metal fence that surrounds the patio." As any other reasonable individual would do in such a predicament, Wedder decided to take it one step further and confronted a server with the knife still in his hand. He was eventually restrained.
Charges will be filed tomorrow, but Wedder was booked on suspicion of felony menacing, defrauding an innkeeper, and criminal mischief.
