New York Times critic Pete Wells gives his first zero-star review to La Mar Cebicheria Peruana, writing "Any restaurant can get the hiccups. This one was having a full-blown seizure." Michael Bauer takes on the haters who thought Original Joe's wouldn't survive moving locations in San Francisco: "Some contended that a move would be fatal, and others thought the old-school Cal-Ital food was past its prime. Everyone had an opinion. They were all wrong."
