Food trucks? Old and busted. The new hotness? Food-delivering unmanned aerial vehicles that take orders by iPhone. Please welcome the TacoCopter. This is probably fake, but when asked, the supposed co-founder of TacoCopter Dustin Boyer replied, "Yes, we're definitely real :) There are a number of technical and legal hurdles that our team is working through. If you're interested in pushing the boundaries of robotics and food please email"

Using flying robotic drones, or "unmanned delivery agents," the service offers easy smartphone ordering, but alas, is in a private beta in the SF Bay Area only. Apparently a LobsterCopter is being developed for the East Coast.
