Nicolas Fanucci, the new owner of Philadelphia's legendary Le Bec-Fin, has announced Walter Abrams as the restaurant's new chef. Abrams had previously been chef de cuisine at Spruce, in San Francisco, and a sous chef at the French Laundry. For a time, it had been rumored that Per Se executive sous David Breeden would helm the kitchen. [Diner's Journal]
