A number of chefs and authors associated with the modernist movement — including Rene Redzepi, David Chang, and Nathan Myhrvold — will be lecturing at UCLA this spring for the institution's first "Science and Food" public lecture series. Amy Rowat, the professor who started the talks over at Harvard, is also organizing the L.A. run. The four nights of lectures go on sale next week, and tickets are $20 each. [LA Times]
