A dark day for the Philly food landscape: it turns out Georges Perrier's legendary French restaurant Le Bec-Fin will close its doors on Saturday, March 3rd. Perrier had originally established an April closing, but the restaurant was losing money at an epic clip. The new owner Nic Fanucci aims to open LBF 2.0 within the next three to six months, and current Per Se executive sous chef David Breeden will reportedly helm the kitchen. [Eater Philly]
