Chef Eddie Huang's show Cheap Bites officially got picked up by the Cooking Channel for a full series. Huang tweeted: "Happy to announce Cheap Bites got picked up for series OFFICIALLY... it's comin yall. Good week for Asian America..." A one-hour special one-off episode of Cheap Bites aired back in January (see a clip here) and it looks like the network can handle Eddie's brand of mayhem. Back when the special aired, Anthony Bourdain tweeted: "@MrEddieHuang becomes the new viper in Cooking Channel's bedding." Hopefully Eddie's mom will make appearances in the show and keep him honest.
