Hey look it's almost annual rite: People complaining about how Top Chef is lame now. Back in 2010 it was Josh Ozersky in Time who asked "Is Bravo's Hit Series Losing Its Edge?," and today it's Jace Lacob writing for the "Sexy Beast" subsidiary of the Daily Beast who explains why he's tired of Top Chef. Calling the show "irrelevant and predictable," Lacob calls the current season "tired, the result of overproducing, gimmicky challenges, sponsor tie-ins, and forced drama." Isn't that what Top Chef is all about? Has it ever been anything other than that? [TDB]
