Rich British pals Gordon Ramsay and David Beckham are still talking about opening a restaurant, possibly in Los Angeles. In 2010, the official word on the restaurant was that "There are no plans in the pipeline, but never say never.'" And now Beckham has informed Ryan Seacrest, "Actually, we've got something in the pipeline." Pipelines are full of restaurants, it seems. Anyway, Ramsay gave George Lopez significantly more info on the restaurant back in 2010, saying "It will be British, something cool, hip, good food, great atmosphere, somewhere you can have fun." Ramsay's current attempt at "having fun" in Los Angeles, the newly opened Fat Cow, isn't getting the best reviews.
As for the Ramsay/Beckham restaurant, according to Beckham: Something "could happen pretty soon," it might/might not be a restaurant in a soccer stadium, and "Gordon's a good friend of mine. It'll be something like a business thing, but something like owning restaurants is going to be fun as well." It's a good thing someone counts Ramsay as a friend. Below, Beckham's interview with Seacrest; restaurant talk begins around 5:20.
