At Last, Guy Fieri Explains His Backwards Sunglasses

Flavormeister Guy Fieri stopped by VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live to explain what is perhaps the most vital aspect of the Guy Fieri mythology: that is, why he wears sunglasses on the back of his head. First of all, when host Carrie Keagan asked him why he's not wearing sunglasses on the back of his head, he seemed kind of surprised to find out he wasn't? But then he explained the backwards reasoning. "It's just a good place to hold them," says Fieri. "You know how many times I've had them around [the front] of my neck and they fall out? And they fall in the soup or something?" You heard it here: backwards sunglasses are an anti-soup accident preventative measure.

They also talked about how the hell he ended up cooking with Drake. (The answer is kind of boring? They were both in Toronto for a fundraiser.) And obviously they rehashed the Pete Wells/New York Times goose egg once again and then made "Egg Nog Gone Wild." Go, watch, break out the butterscotch schnapps:
