Charlie Trotter Wire

charlie-trotter-auction-150.jpgThings went a little bit off the rails at yesterday's auction at Charlie Trotter's namesake in Chicago. The auction had to shut down early, and the "notoriously temperamental" Trotter was there kicking out journalists and pushing aside the auctioneer who "sheepishly stepped to the back of the room as Trotter let bidders know that what was left of the shuttered restaurant wasn't junk."
