Grant Achatz and Nick Kokonas' extreme Chicago cocktail bar the Aviary is throwing a New Year's Eve party, but not just any New Year's Eve party. As SNL's Stefon would say, this party will have everything: a ten-course cocktail menu with paired snacks, "magicians and musical story tellers" the Absinthe Minded Professors (get it?), a "freaky-deaky sideshow troupe of ladies," the best belly dancer in Chicago who also happens to be a man, live electronica cabaret music, and yet another magician (why not) "with the ability to make you laugh and cry." No, really, all of those things are happening at the Aviary on December 31, and all for $325 per person, plus tax and tip. They're limiting the crowd to 75 people, so if you're into it, check out their Facebook page for instructions promptly.
