Operatives from Alain Ducasse's empire have released the names all 240 chefs convening in Monaco later this month to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the chef's three-star Michelin Le Louis XV. Together, the roster of invited chefs totals 300 Michelin stars and represents over 25 countries. It seems almost ridiculous to draw highlights from the roster, but yes, Redzepi, Chang, Kinch, Atala, Aduriz, Aizpitarte, Barbot, Robuchon, Senderens, and Blanc will be there.
As previously reported, the goal of the event is for the chefs to exchange knowledge, ideas, and discoveries. There will be different events, from tastings to a gala dinner to a 1,000 square-meter outdoor market (entry by invitation only) on November 17th which will feature demos and demonstrations. "The themes dearest to me are related to the Mediterranean," says Ducasse. "The 25th anniversary of the Louis XV then appeared to me as a unique opportunity to gather around these values the worlds' greatest culinary talents for a stroll through the 'country' of taste and excellence."
