Holy moses, New York chef Eric Ripert is parting ways with yet another of his restaurants: 10 Arts in Philadelphia. Just a day after announcing he was pulling out of the DC-based Westend Bistro, Ripert tells Philly food writer Michael Klein that he's also ending his partnership with 10 Arts after nearly five years. Like yesterday, he explains that "a project in New York affiliated with his famed Le Bernardin required too much of his time."
Both restaurants are housed within Ritz-Carlton Hotels. As is the case with the DC restaurant, 10 Arts will continue to operate under chef Nathan Volz when Ripert officially parts ways at the end of 2012. At that point, Ripert will have one remaining hotel-restaurant, Blue in Grand Cayman — host to January's forthcoming Cayman Cookout, so maybe he'll keep that one in the family...for now?
