The Michelin Guide has announced the 2013 stars for the Netherlands. Three restaurants got their second star, which brings the total two-star restaurants in the region up to 18. The new two-stars are Aan de Poel (Amstelveen), Samhoud Places (Amsterdam), and De Treeswijkhoeve (Waalre). An additional four restaurants earned their first stars, including Bord'eau (Amsterdam) and Han Ting Cuisine (The Hague).
The Netherlands held on to its two three-star restaurants, chef Sergio Herman's Oud Sluis (Sluis) and chef Jonnie Boer's De Librije (Zwolle). The announcement brings the country's star total to 123.
