"Bravolebrity" Lisa Vanderpump has starred in Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and because she owns an actual restaurant — Sur (sometimes it is spelled SUR, which apparently is an acronym for "Sexy Unique Restaurant") — she's getting her own spin-off series. The new show is called Vanderpump Rules and is set in her "exclusive" Hollywood restaurant and lounge that becomes a club at night replete with tourists and Ed Hardy-types.
Bravo describes the show: "Lisa balances her motherly instincts and shrewd business sense to keep control over this wild group of employees." Judging by the preview, basically the entire staff is a group of frequently-naked demonic sex-crazed models and actors hell-bent on trying to either sleep with each other or get everyone else fired. Believe in your dreams, everybody. It verges on a parody of the restaurant reality show genre, but sure, why not. The show premieres Monday, January 7, 2013. Here's a preview:
