Stephen Colbert understands the Millennial generation and bravely declared last night that soup is "America's hottest liquid food trend." Taking on the Campbell's "Go" campaign, which markets soup to the Millennial demographic using a Tumblr-like website and pouches rather than cans, Colbert explains, "right now there is nothing 18-to-34-year-old upper middle income kids love more than soup, playa." He also points out that Campbell's has partnered with Spotify so kids these days can create soup-inspired playlists: "It's like a mixtape you make for your girlfriend, only your girlfriend is a bag of soup."
